Most of my design history falls under the umbrella of Oakbrook Awards & Promotions, where I sent 15 years -- starting as a graphic designer, and working my way through the company to ultimately purchase it in 2018, with my (now ex-)wife.
This pocket watch was a genuine relic, an artifact of a more elegant time. All of the older engravers who did traditional style hand engraving in our area had gradually retired, unable to do the delicate work with aged, shaky hands. I managed a machine replication, using hand-modified font to match the original text on the watch as closely as possible for the client, who loved it.
